Mercy’s Hall-Perrine Cancer Center celebrates cancer survivorship
Mercy is proud to observe Cancer Survivor Day on Friday, June 5. Mercy’s Hall-Perrine Cancer Center invites cancer survivors – both current and past patients – to join in a celebration of strength, resilience and hope.
The drive-through event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, June 5, at the Hall-Perrine Cancer Center main entrance, 701 10th St. SE, on the Mercy Medical Center campus.
Guests will enter the circle drive, where they will be greeted by cancer center staff, have the opportunity to say hello to members of their care team and receive a party favor (while supplies last). Patients who have appointments at the Cancer Center that day can also receive the giveaway items during their visit inside the facility.
This celebratory event is part of National Cancer Survivors Day, recognized each June by communities across the world. It’s a time to honor those who have faced cancer and to affirm that life beyond a cancer diagnosis is worth celebrating.
