Dr. Smith and his wife, Claire, keep quite busy with their four children; as well as his extended family, which consists of 6 siblings and 15 nieces and nephews. Dr. Smith is a Navy veteran and has traveled extensively throughout this country, Europe and the Middle East. He and his wife are looking forward to exploring the Midwest and all it has to offer.

Excellent, Dr. Smith did a great job in explaining my prostate cancer and options to treat. He had a slide show and we took a full hour plus going over everything.

Dr. Smith did not inform me during my visit that I'd had abnormal urine findings in my dipstick test. He did not explain why no imaging was necessary nor did he seem to care that my symptoms were causing a lot of anxiety. Rather he espoused a wait and see approach even though my PCP indicated a chance of cancer.

Dr. Smith scheduled an open-ended meeting to insure I understood my medical issues, the options for care, and provided understandable information and answers to all my questions. His patient centered approach has greatly helped relieve my concerns with my upcoming treatment and plan for recovery.
